Relite Lucidor A A42.563

The Lucidor with gear is a big bulky lantern, losing the sleek lines of the gearless versions. This lantern is a bit of a mystery; both the canopy and bowl feature the REVO name whilst the gear is all Relite. This must have been one of the first lanterns produced by Relite whilst using the old moulds.

This lantern originally was mounted on a cast iron pole which was painted green. Therefore the painter decided to give the lantern's canopy a lick of paint as well!

It originally stood in Street Lane, Ripley.

It has now been mounted on a bracket also removed from Street Lane, Ripley.
