REVO C???? Lucidor A
Not a popular lantern, given it's dreadful design fault. Sleek, sexy and sixties, this Group-A Lucidor featured a
tiny extrusion for bracket entry - and some brackets were too curved to take the lantern. REVO changed the design
by later adding a shoe.
One road in Cambridge is lit with these. After almost forty years of service (assuming installation in the 1960s), they've only
just started to fail: the bowls usually disappear after windy nights.
This lantern was originally installed in Springhill Lane, Wolverhampton, and was rescued by Claire Pendrous.
