A beast of a lantern, this gear-in-head monster burned 250w-400W mercury lamps. Relatively common, most have now disappeared, although a few hang on after being converted to SON.

It was rescued from a car-park in Bilston by Claire Pendrous. Unfortunately it's missing the cover of the gear shoe, but that'll be easy enough to replace.
