After designing the Lucidor A with a tiny top spigot, and finding it difficult to mount on some curved brackets, REVO changed the design to include a shoe.

As such, it gave the lantern a pleasing asymmetric appearance, but unfortunately it was never a popular lantern, and any installations of this lantern are now disappearing fast.
