rodney marshall photographs

Rodney Marshall visited the museum and took the following pictures in 1980. He concentrated on the exhibits along and immediately adjacent to the main drive.

These pictures are important as they provide a record of the museum in 1980 and allow the columns, brackets and lanterns to be matched to the entries in the catalogue. It also shows how much the museum has grown since the mid-1970s as many of the exhibits pictured were not listed in the catalogue.

Many thanks to Rodney for sending me the pictures, invitation and original museum flyer.
