cast iron columns and brackets

Finding original cast iron columns, along with swan neck brackets (which hasn't had the finial removed) and a nice top-entry lantern, is becoming more and more difficult these days. So here's some pictures of some survivors which still lurk down alleyways or on forgotten side streets.

Cast iron column and swan neck with GEC Z5560 SB

This lantern, pictured on Exton Street, London (near Waterloo Station) shows an extremely old cast iron column. I believe this would've dated from the 1930s, and bares all the hallmarks of an ESLA casting (the vertical groove patterning around the base being a characteristic).

The swan neck is more modern probably dating from the 1950s, as is the lantern, a GEC Z5560 SB.
