Top spinning 18 S.W.G. aluminium.
Four steel supporting tubes ½in. in diameter.
Reflector plate 18 S.W.G. aluminium and 16 S.W.G. mild steel.
Spigot cap LM-6-M alloy, internal diameter 3 1/8in. with four Allen set screws. Earthing screw in spigot cap.
Lampholder wired to a floating terminal block in spigot cap.
Stove enamelling by the hot spray process.
External screws non-corrosive.

DESCRIPTION
Pole top fitting for 300-watt tungsten filament lamp or 250-watt type MBF/U colour corrected mercury
vapour lamp.
Spun aluminium outer hood, prime etched and glossy stove enamelled blue-grey. Reflector in two parts, the outer
being sheet aluminium and the inner disc sheet steel, both prime etched and stove enamelled glossy white. Hood supported
by four steel tubes which are secured to a cast aluminium alloy spigot cap to suit a standard 3 in. diameter spigot.
Tubes cadmium plated, spigot cap prime etched, both stove enamelled aluminium and clear lacquered finish.
Porcelain G.E.S. skirted
lampholder wired to a porcelain terminal block in spigot cap.
Steel columns specialy design for use with 'Beaufort' lanterns are listed
on page five. Any of those shown is suitable for the 'Beaufort 34.' Column S.93859 should
only be used when control gear for a discharge lamp is to be housed or a sealing chamber for cable larger than
that permitted by the other columns.
