Lamp
250W or 400W Truelite MBF/U colour corrected lamp. 310W, 360W or 400W Solarcolour HPS lamp.


Mounting
A side entry socket is provided to accept a 5 in. length of unthreaded 1¼ in. B.S.P.


Lampholder
Porcelain G.E.S wired with heat-resisting insultated wire to a porcelain terminal block.


Construction
As Z8520 cut off and Z8526 semi cut off but with provision for housing the lamp control gear. The reflector pressing is supported by an end casting enlarged to house the control gear.

The underside of the casting is sealed by a hinged door giving access to the wiring connections and the hardened screws that secure the lantern to the column bracket arm. The cast socket for the bracket arm spigot has a barrier at the lantern end to prevent condensation entering the gear compartment.


Weathering Finish
The alloy used is specially selected for its resistance to corrosion. Further protection is obtained by the use of a pretreatment primer and stove enamel top coat.

Mounting
Top entry threaded 1¼ B.S.P. and complete with lock nut.


Lampholder
Porcelain G.E.S wired with heat-resisting insultated wire to a porcelain terminal block.


Construction
The lantern is suspended centrally by an aluminium alloy casting secured to the top of the reflector pressing. The casting has a return on the inside to prevent condensation running down the supporting barrel and entering the lantern.

A metal heat shield is fitted to protect the incoming supply cables.
