Metrovick full range | Mercury Lanterns

Liverpool
Lantern modified in 1937 to accomodate the new "Metrovick" horizontal Mercury lamps which don't require the use of a magnetic arc deflector. Has a definite cut-off at approximately 75°. Extensively used in Lancashire by 1938.
