PHOSWARE P151 is an enclosed lantern designed for Side Entry (1¼" BSP x 5") for Group A lighting
at 25ft. or 30ft. mounting.
The hood is designed so that with a horizontal bracket the lantern is tilted 15° upwards which gives a wide carriageway
cover and also a more pleasing daylight appearance.
The body casting is made of corrosion resisting aluminium alloy of robust design with also a cast
aluminium hinged ring which carries a heat resisting glass prismatic oval shaped bowl designed to give a two-way directional
light distribution.
The hood is also fitted with a special internal high purity anodised aluminium reflectors consisting of two side reflectors
and one part parabola at the end, so as to direct the maximum light flux, from this type of lamp, to the lower hemisphere.
The hinged ring and bowl are sealed by means of suitable gaskets and the body casting is fitted with a porcelain terminal
block and earthing screw.
Standard finish, external hammered metallic beige, internal white enamelled. When ordering please state wattage of lamp to
be used.

Color Corrected Reflector Lanterns Group 'B'
For 80W - 125W MBF/U Lamps, Horizontal Burning

PHOSWARE P148 and P149 are enclosed REFLECTOR type lanterns designed for horizontal or upward tilted
mounting for side road lighting with 80W or 125W colour corrected MBF/U mercury lamps.
The body casting is made of corrosion resisting aluminium alloy and is made in two types for side entry and top entry fixing.
Hinged to the body flange is an oval shaped pin-spot Perspex bowl which gives diffusion to the transmitted light from the
lantern.
The light control is by means of a special contour, high purity anodised aluminium reflector fixed to the hood interior.
The light distribution is two-way directional, but has a wide cover of a general type, suitable for Group B lighting.
As standard the lanterns are fitted with three-pin BC lamp holders for the MBF/U lamps, but the lantern can be used with
100-200W tungsten lamps with the equivalent holder BC two-pin or ES.
The interior is fitted with a porcelain terminal block and earthing screw. Standard finish, exterior hammered metallic bronze,
interior white enamelled.

Promenade Post Top Lantern
The PROMENADE POST TOP LANTERN No. P.111 is a decorative type designed for the lighting of squares, parks, etc., or for wall
mounting ot monumental buildings.
It is suitable for Tungsten, Colour corrected mercury, or 45-60W Sodium lamps.
The lantern body consists of a cast alum-alloy spigot cap, a seamless diffusive Perspex Cone and an ornamental top
spinning and corona.
The Perspex cone is clamped to the hood spinning and spigot caps by the ornamental top screw which engages with
an interior metal frame, which frame also carries the lamp holder and the prismatic refractor for the light control.
