Catch and Hinges: The refractor bowl is attached to the body with stainless steel hinges and fasteners. A resilient gasket ensures a dust and weatherproof seal.

Optical System: The optical system consists of prismatic refractor panels cemented to acrylic plastic bowl having smoot exterior surfaces, supplemented by a white acyrlic finish in the bottom of the bowl.
