This fitting has been specifically designed for catenary lighting applications suitable for Motorways and Class A Roads and houses a Philips 135W SOX low pressure sodium lamp and control gear.

Materials and Finish

• One-piece, deep-drawn aluminium lantern body, with lateral and longitudinal ribs for rigidity, body stove-enamel finished, hammertone grey outside, white inside.
• Stainless-steel suspension studs sealed into aluminium casting and secured to inner cast aluminium alloy (LM6M) back-bone sub-assembly.
• One-piece acrylic bowl attached to body with stainless steel hinge brackets and quick action toggle catches.
• Neoprene rubber gasket ensures dust and weatherproof seal.
• Optical system comprises polished and anodised aluminium mirrors secured to lantern body.
