This lantern has been designed for use in municipal areas and for the lighting of minor roadways. The lantern incorporates pleasing aesthetic appearances and effective lighting characteristics. Light sources which may be used in this lantenr are mercury (80/125W PowerWhite and 160W PowerBlend), low pressure sodium (35W SOX) and tungsten (200W GLS).

Materials and Finish

• Canopy top is an aluminium spinning, stove enamelled, grey on the outside, white on the inside.
• Lantern bowl constructed of moulded opal acrylic.
• Gaskets incorporated between canopy and bowl and lantern base and bowl, former constructed of close cell rubber, and latter of tropicalised felt. Both gaskets are provided for elimination of dirt and moisture.
• Lantern base and spigot entry is of cast aluminium (LM6M). Finish is stove enamelled in silver-grey.
