10A up to 250V at 50 Hz controlled frequency. Solar dial or hand set and enclosed in a cast aluminium weatherproof case. It is of the plug-in type which enables it to be interchanged very simply. The standard switch is fitted with an extra hand to permit the switch to cut out at the same time every night.

Incorporates a solar dial and includes a double-circuit control to allow one or more tubes in a fluorescent lighting unit to be cut out at a predetermined hour, usually between 11PM and 1AM. Models were supplied with handwound or synchronous motor driven clocks. It was called "Half Night" lighting.
